Advertise
The Inside Loop accepts advertising from any UK fibre-related business and overseas businesses which ship to the UK.
Advertising may be booked up to two issues in advance, and must be paid for one month before the issue goes live. Advertising may be reserved further in advance but prices are subject to change.
If you wish to book advertising please contact us detailing which category of advertising you are interested in (see details below). We will confirm availability and send you an invoice.
Profiled Business
Each issue will run a feature on a UK owned and run fibre-related business. Businesses are chosen by invitation, but please feel free to contact us if you are interested. In return, we ask only for a donation of yarn for a companion pattern to be published in the same issue and a special offer (discount or free gift with purchase) for readers while the issue is live. Donated yarn should be provided as soon as possible after booking the spot. Consider carefully which yarn you choose to feature – a new addition or a best-seller is a good idea.
Once you are confirmed as the featured business we will send you a questionnaire and your answers will form the basis of the article we write. We will also ask you to provide some photos, details will be provided with the questionnaire.
Please note: The Featured Business cannot also be the Issue Sponsor in the same issue.

Major Sponsor
One advertiser will be selected as the issue sponsor. An ad will appear on every page of the issue, in a prominent position. Artwork should measure 200 x 140 pixels. Maximum of 1 per issue.
As Issue Sponsorship is very popular, a deposit is required when booking in advance. This will consist of 25% of the total cost and is refundable up to six weeks before the issue goes live.
Pattern and Article Sponsorship
Each pattern and article published in The Inside Loop will feature yarn or equipment easily obtainable in the UK and preferably from a British retailer. If you are a supplier of the materials featured you may purchase advertising space on that pattern or article’s page. This will appear as a banner ad at the top of the page, 540 x 65 pixels.
We will be gathering a database of businesses interested in pattern and article sponsorship. Once issue content is confirmed we will email you inviting your sponsorship of any suitable patterns or articles. Please let us know if you would like to be added to this list.
It may not be possible to link some articles to a specific business, for example a techniques article – advertising on these pages will be offered at a reduced rate.
Classified Advertising
The marketplace page will list advertisements and links to sponsors’ websites. This will be a business card ad, 210 x 100 pixels. Maximum of 12 per issue.
Blog Advertising
The magazine blog has spaces for ads in the right-hand sidebar. Ads can be taken out in exchange for £10 worth of goods per month, with a minimum of 2 months. Ads on the blog can start at any time and run for as long as you like. This will be a business card ad, 210 x 100 pixels.
Note: Offers of goods to the retail value specified are an alternative to monetary payments. Goods must be in perfect, saleable condition and may be used as prizes and giveaways or provided to designers as yarn support.
Please do not use this as an opportunity to offload unwanted stock. Goods received will be used as prizes, gifts and in patterns for the magazine. They need to be current, fresh and inspiring.
Archiving
Pattern and article sponsorship will remain with that page in the archives permanently. The marketplace ads will remain in place for the current issue only.
